The Vipassana Meditation Retreat is held at the Marywood Retreat Center. Located on State Road 13 just south of Jacksonville in the town of Switzerland, FL. Students are at the site only during course dates.

TRAVELING BY CAR

Georgia I-95 to Jacksonville:After entering Florida (pass Jacksonville Airport) Merge onto I-295 S via exit number 362B. Take Exit 5 (30.2 mi) to SR 13 S. Marywood is 8.5 mi on the right hand side. Then follow the Course Site Map.

I-10 to Jacksonville: Merge onto I-295 S via exit number 356 toward ORANGE PARK/ST AUGUSTINE. Take Exit 5 (15.6 mi) to SR 13 S. Marywood is 8.5 mi on the right hand side. Then follow the map below.

Miami I-95:Around St. Augustine take Exit 318 to SR16 towards Green Cove Springs. This connects with SR13 North (San Jose). Marywood is 8 miles from SR16 & I-95 on the left hand side. Then follow the map below.

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

AIR: Those coming long distances should fly to Jacksonville International Airport JIA. Airport Limo Express (shuttle) will take you directly to Marywood.

Bus:Greyhound to Jacksonville. Airport Limo Express (shuttle) will take you directly to Marywood.

Train: Amtrak to Jacksonville. Airport Limo Express (shuttle) will take you directly to Marywood.

Shuttle:Airport Limo Express -- (800) 852-7433 or (904) 739-3236; Will transport directly to Marywood. The fee they charge depends on how many students sign up. They will drop you off and pick you up at the end of the course. Airport is 50 miles away.

Call Airport Limo Express with your flight arrangements before you arrive so they know when to pick you up.

When you get to the Airport, go to Ground Transportation outside of baggage and ask for Airport Limo Express. Tell the driver you are going to Marywood. They will coordinate with the other students arriving.
