Public talks about Vipassana Meditation and other events are periodically scheduled to provide interested persons with information about the technique. A showing of the award winning documentary film Doing Time, Doing Vipassana is also regularly scheduled. This film is about the teaching of Vipassana meditation in the prison system of India and the remarkable results which were achieved in terms of changes in the attitudes and behaviour of the inmates who participated.

One way to find out more about Vipassana Meditation is to come to one of these organized events. Following the introductory talks and video showings there will be an opportunity to ask questions and talk informally with experienced meditators.
